Rome – The Eternal City
The Eternal City is an eternal epic written on the rich history, culture, and religion of Roman. Located on the confluence of the river Aniene and the river Tiber, in the central-western portion of the Italian peninsula, Rome was founded by Romulus in 753 B.C.
The present Rome is the capital and largest city of Italy, the capital of Latium, and the capital of the province of Rome. Rome is also the see of the pope – Vatican City – the holy kingdom is located within Rome. Created in 1929 by the Lateran Treaty, the Vatican City is the sovereign territory of the Holy See and smallest nation in the world is enclave of Rome. Rome is often dubbed as “threshold of the Apostles” because of the Vatican City, which widely popular destination for spiritual and exotic vacation.
Rome is also known as the “City of Seven Hills,” as geographically the Seven Hills are located east of the Tiber form the heart of Rome. Rome, being one of the greatest cultural, religious, and intellectual hubs of the world, is often dubbed as the “Capital of the World.” Rome is also known as the “City of Love.”
Rome is one of the most glorious cities of the world. It is one of the most celebrated & coveted tourist destinations. Profusely stuffed with tourist attractions, Rome attracts volumes of tourists every year.
